Valpak is looking for a high-value Account Manager to join our National Sales Support Client Services team. GREAT, SO WHAT’S THE JOB?

 

Valpak is developing a best-in-class Client Services Team.  As an Account Manager, you will focus on managing all aspects of advertising programs offered by Valpak. This position acts as the primary interface to drive collaborative engagement between all operating departments on behalf of the Valpak Sales team and their clients using excellent interpersonal communication, project management and analytical consultancy with retailers and CPG partners, including Direct Response, Retail, Fortune 500 Grocery Retailers, Consumer Package Goods (CPG) and E-commerce organizations.

 

  • Manage and execute all aspects of multiple media campaign timelines, including all print, solo, and digital as well as CLEs, FSIs and other current and new products being sold across all Valpak sales teams.
  • Lead and develop ongoing collaboration between client, Sales Director and Account Executive in communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on deliverables.
  • Develop a solid knowledge of Valpak products, create FAQs, and maintain information for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractual commitments, adjusts revenue projections, assists in payment collections and reports key activities to Account Executives and senior management.
  • Prepare and perform detailed product demonstrations, researches and answers customer inquiries, runs ad hoc reports, performs market analysis, secures mailing geography, facilitates creative assets and process, and participates in post release verification process to ensure client objectives are met.
  • Participate in sales and account calls as the Valpak product expert and effectively communicates to clients and Account Executives on ways to maximize the benefit of our products to drive customer success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, MIS or equivalent work experience in a business support, or technical team role.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an account manager, project manager, analyst or product specialist in a media advertising agency within consumer insights, data analysis, Marketing, retail or CPG experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and relate to the consumer user experience.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, commercial awareness & consulting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of print, digital, mobile and social marketing platforms.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite including strong Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Attention to detail with excellent project management, organization, time management and multi-tasking skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Saleforce.com and SAP preferred.
