Responsibilities

Valpak is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join their growing National Sales team.

 

Valpak is a sales driven company so this is an exciting opportunity.  In this very important role you will be managing some of Valpak’s biggest accounts.

 

Location : Tampa / St Pete

  • Manage Valpak legacy clients
  • Partner with senior sellers to ensure campaigns are being optimized
  • Meet with clients as needed (travel required)
  • Ensure high renewal rates for all clients
  • Work to upsell clients during campaign process
  • Research clients to always know current news and potential impact to business
  • Organize, develop and coordinate client pitches and presentation decks.
  • Conduct program and campaign recaps.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients via phone and email.
  • Seek out opportunities to help team succeed and exceed goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a sales environment
  • Ability to balance account management and sales at the same time
  • Experience working on multi-million dollar accounts
  • Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook is required
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Enthusiastic personality and “can do” attitude
  • Ability to handle top tier strategic partnerships
  • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong persuasion and sales skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment with deadlines
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and prioritize
  • Ability to pivot from project to project easily
