Valpak needs to fill an experienced marketing research manager position to lead and mentor a team of research analysts. The research team develops and delivers enterprise-wide advertising sales, competitive intelligence and primary research programs. Projects include interpreting syndicated research data, direct mail campaign results, segmentation analyses, primary research findings or an emerging competitor development to produce actionable insights. GREAT, SO WHAT’S THE JOB?
Valpak’s full service marketing research team creates compelling narratives from multiple data sets to support cooperative and solo direct mail programs and is seeking a skillful leader to manage the team’s daily affairs while maintaining and building team expertise as a respected in-house analytics function. The manager will oversee all day-to-day team operations, including job queue assignments, performance management and supplier relationships.

WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
We’re in search of an experienced marketing research leader who can crunch numbers, tell qualitative and quantitative stories and help research analyst teammates do the same. Bonus points if you have direct response, retail and/or CPG media buying or measurement experiences, but those are not requirements.
