Responsibilities

Responsible for directing the sales efforts of local sales representatives in a designated territory.  In addition to managing a sales force, oversee the activities of sales manager(s) assigned. 

Recruits, hires, trains, coaches and motivates Sales Manager, and monitor progress of that sales team, to meet business requirements and market demands.

  • Recruits, hires, trains, coaches and motivates Account Executives to meet business requirements and market demands.
  • Monitors and manages sales activity to meet or exceed revenue and profit goals.
  • Maintains effective networking in local communities to support staffing and business needs.
  • Establishes on-going educational programs including regular field training.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies and incentive plans.
  • Keeps abreast of business and industry trends.
  • Frequent local travel required, and limited overnight travel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years successful outside sales management experience required. 
  • Experience in media sales preferred.
  • Strong finacial analytical skills.
  • Proven leadership skills
